Our History

Natural Art was born in 1971 by the passion of four surfers led by Pete Dooley, with the aim of developing the best and most modern surfboard in the world.

Shapers worked together with team of surfers to create a world class surfboard. Tested in Hawaii, California and around the world. Distributed in Japan, France, Barbados, England, Chile, Panama, and in more than 20 countries. In the 1980s, Natural Art became the largest surfboard manufacturer in the United States, and one of the most respected surf brands in the world.

In 1983, businessman José Augusto Pereira Neto took Natural Art to Brazil, expanding its operations to the design and manufacture of backpacks, jackets, shorts and t-shirts. These innovative and high-quality products have led Natural Art to achieve great success and win over many surfers and fans.

In 2014, Natural Art from Brazil and the United States came together, with the aim of strengthening the brand and solidifying our name and reputation in the surfing community. Our essence: Surfing is... Natural Art.
